Ongoing Recall Of Single Lot of Glyburide and Metformin 2.5 mg/500 mg Tablets

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories is recalling a single lot of the combination medicine Glyburide and Metformin 2.5 mg/500 mg tablets. Lot number 18007859 is being recalled because this lot may have both Glyburide and Metformin 2.5 mg/500 mg tablets and Glyburide and Metformin 5 mg/500 mg tablets in the same bottle.

This combination tablet contains Glyburide and Metformin is commonly used in the treatment of diabetes. It is also sold under the brand name Glucovance. This recall alert only applied to a single lot of the generic Glyburide and Metformin 2.5 mg/500 mg tablets from Dr. Reddy's. No other Glyburide and Metformin or Glucovance products were involved in this recall.
