This recall for Vicks NyQuil Cold & Flu, Nighttime Relief from Proctor and Gamble was issued at a warehouse and retail level only. The FDA and the manufacturer have determined that any recalled product that may have been purchased patients does not pose a significant health risk. Proctor and Gamble Recalls Select Lots of Vicks NyQuil Cold & Flu, Nighttime Relief

Proctor and Gamble has recalled select lots of Vicks NyQuil Cold & Flu, Nighttime Relief. The following lot numbers have been recalled because the labels on these lots may be difficult to read: 2278171941 and 2282171981

Vicks NyQuil Cold & Flu contains the active ingredient acetaminophen, dextromethorphan, and doxylamine and is commonly used for relief of cold and flu symptoms. Acetaminophen, dextromethorphan, and doxylamine succinate is also sold under other brand names. This recall alert only applies to these two lot of Vicks NyQuil Cold & Flu, Nighttime Relief. No other Vicks or Nyquil products or acetaminophen, dextromethorphan, and doxylamine products were involved in this recall.
