Galderma Laboratories Recalls Several Lots of Capex Shampoo

Galderma Laboratories has recalled several lots of Capex Shampoo (fluocinolone acetonide), Topical Shampoo, 0.01%, 4 fl oz in a 6 oz bottle. The following lot numbers have been recalled because routine testing found that the amount of active ingredient was too low in several samples from these lots: J090181-H100089, J090181-J100096, and J090181-K100102

Capex Shampoo contains the active ingredient fluocinolone acetonide and is commonly used in the treatment of itching, redness or flaking of the scalp. Fluocinolone acetonide is also sold under other brand names. This recall alert only applies to the select lots of Capex Shampoo (fluocinolone acetonide), Topical Shampoo, 0.01%. No other fluocinolone acetonide products were involved in this recall.
