Shionogi Inc. has recalled a single lot of Nisoldipine Extended Release Tablets, 17mg. Lot number 2021956 has been recalled because this lot failed the manufacturer’s routine tests that measure the capsules' ability to dissolve.

Nisoldipine is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. Nisoldipine is also sold under the brand name Sular. No other lots, strengths, or brands of Nisoldipine were involved in this recall.
